City of Armadale Mayor Henry Zelones OAM JP said the shared use arrangement between the City and the WA State Government would emulate the recently completed Harrisdale Pavilion and Playing Field.

Testimonial

“Alita Constructions have just completed our 1960m2 commercial complex on time and within budget.

This is the fourth, large building (all over 1500m2) we have had constructed.  The previous three, by three different builders and this was the first building to be built without a hitch.

Alita Constructions built the building to the standard originally promised.  In fact during construction they suggested improvements to the design always with cost in mind.  The building was built within the schedule and the quality was such that our leasing agents congratulated the builder on the quality which made it very easy to find tenants on our behalf.

Constant communication occurred between us and Alita Constructions.  The staff were very approachable, polite and friendly and obliging whenever possible.

Thank you Alita.  We have no hesitation in recommending your company to anyone wishing to

delve into the world of commercial building construction.”

Testimonial

“Advanced Polymer Technology had the pleasure of working with Alita Constructions on the build of our state of the art polyurethane manufacturing facility. As this is the first time Advanced Polymer Technology had built a commercial facility, the process was quite daunting to us until Alita Constructions came on board. We had ideas of what we wanted to build but were unsure of how it all would tie together, with the help of Alastair and his team of professionals we were able to figure out a design that best suited our needs and budget.

Once the design process was complete, Alita Constructions began building our facility which was a highly professional and easy process. Any queries we had were answered almost immediately & any issues were solved quickly. We were kept in the loop at all times and were told when major installs were happening so we could view them, which was fantastic and made us feel like we were a part of the team. Our build was completed within the specified time frame and budget. The handover process was quick and thorough and any post occupancy items are attended to quickly.

I would like to thank Alastair and his team for making the build such an easy and enjoyable process. With the high level of client service we received and the high quality of the build, we recommend them to all those looking at building.”

Ritalyda

Factory built by Alita Constructions

Comprising four units split over two levels, this project on Browning Rd, Armadale was built for a company that operates both as a cabinet maker and a manufacturer of stone bench tops. The process of cutting and polishing the stone uses substantial amounts of water, so a complex system of sloping floors, floor drains and a state of the art water filtration system was designed and built so that 90% of the water used is recycled water. Four gantry cranes aid in the movement of the stone between the various CNC machines. To gain the required water flow and pressure for the fire protection system, diesel powered pumps draw water from two storage tanks. The development is connected to two Fujiclean waste water recycling systems and the recycled waste is used to irrigate the surrounding gardens.

TESTIMONIAL

Alita Constructionas have just finished our new office & workshop Forrestdale and we couldn’t be happier.

We picked Alita from the three quotes based on price and experience.

All the planning consultations were pleasant experiences and they have friendly team.

We will recommend Alita to anyone. You only have to drive around our business park & see that they are building 50% or more of the buildings. That speaks volumes to me.

Agrifil

Massive Agrifil Factory in Hope Valley constructed by Alita Constructions

Massive Factory Construction in Hope Valley, Perth – Agrifil

The exciting Agrifil Project included a 7590m2 factory with a 260m2 office and 5200m2 of concrete carpark. The building was designed for a fertiliser manufacturer so the concrete was designed with special chemicals to ensure the chemicals of the fertilisers did not damage the concrete over time. The factory was 60m wide and the trusses were a single span, meaning no columns in the middle of the factory. It was one of the biggest truss spans in WA. No columns in the middle of the factory was required due to the use of large trucks and forklifts in the warehouse.

The project included the install and commission of two water tanks each holding ninety six thousand litres of water. The tanks are connected to the roof and they supply the whole building with water including the garden reticulation system.

Once the tanks get low on water, the system switches over to mains water. This design ensures waste water is minimised and the building is water efficient by utilising the rain water.

The client was able to operate in part of the building while the rest of the building was being completed due to Alita Constructions managing to make part of the building safe to use and organising all the paperwork with the consultants and council in order to get a partial Occupancy Permit.

This Project was completed in approximately 12 months.

Testimonial

Alita constructions were selected to build our facility from a short list of four construction companies 2 years ago. They were easily selected because of their very professional approach to every detail of the very difficult and challenging design and layout of our project. Their “can do” culture within Alita came through very early in our discussions which also included level headed costings and understanding budgetary constraints. The project was undertaken and completed within expected time frames and which also allowed for partial occupation while they very professionally worked around our day to day operations without any issues. This was very much appreciated and marveled. In the eighteen months it took to build this difficult facility it was an absolute pleasure to have been able to talk with any personnel from Alita and discuss queries if and when they manifested. From accounts through to the managing director everybody was accessible and were more than happy to apportion time to talk. Project management was impeccable. Alita built us a beautiful and functional building which we are very proud of and which is much talked about and marveled within the business community. I recommend Alita very highly to any prospective client of theirs who may be considering a building project. I will use Alita again for any projects I may have going forward.

Carey Baptist College

carey-baptist-college

The Carey Baptist Community Centre Stage 10 project was a double storey complete fit-out building which joined onto an existing Sports Centre at the Carey Baptist College in Harrisdale. It was finished on the 10th March 2015 and the internal fit-out included a childcare centre, cafe, uniform shop, kitchens and offices. The architect, T&Z Architects was the superintendent for the job so Alita worked in closely with them.

The job site was run on a fully functional school ground meaning the logistics of school children, cranes, truck deliveries and parent drop-offs/pickups all had to be managed thoroughly to ensure the safety of all persons at all times. There was a great amount of liaising with the school and flexibility by Alita to ensure the school could function as normal as much as possible during the construction period. Alita managed a 100% safety record with no injuries or potential dangers reported by any children, parents or teachers. All workers also had to have a police clearance or sign a confidential declaration to ensure the safety of all children at all times.

Overall this Carey Baptist Community Centre was a great success and a good achievement by all involved. Alita managed to complete the project two and a half weeks early, much to the delight of the school.

This Project was completed in approximately 12 months.

Testimonial

I have had the pleasure of working with Alistair and the team at Alita Constructions for more than 10 years now and over that time they have proven to be very efficient company that conducts themselves with the utmost professionalism. I enlisted the help from Alita Constructions to build my last 4 projects, the latest being a new 4 unit factory complex in Armadale. This was no simple build for Ed (building supervisor) as water tanks, filters and extensive drainage systems were required for recycling to one of the units. Many changes were made during the building process to make this possible and at no stage was I left to feel that my changes were too much trouble, all variations were made with ease and were cost effective. The Staff at Alita always communicated well with me during the building process with regular updates even whilst being overseas making the entire build relatively easy. Alita’s work has always been of the highest quality and I would have no hesitation in recommending Alita Constructions to any potential client wishing to build a quality new Home or Factory.

A & A Kitchens

A&A Kitchens Forrestdale

A & A Kitchens

This project for A&A Cabinets involved the construction of a concrete tilt panel warehouse with a double storey office complete with kitchens, lunch rooms, offices and a balcony. The full height glazing in the upstairs office area together with the orange feature cladding and the balcony ensure the building looks aesthetically pleasing and at the same time functional. Anti-graffiti paint has also been applied to the front of the building.

Due to the fact it was built for a cabinet maker, the appropriate design steps were taken to ensure the power requested was enough to service their machines. Also the roller doors on both sides ensure easy access for deliveries and pick-ups. The design also took into account the fact that air-pipes needed to go throughout the building as well as power for the work stations.

This job was completed in 34 weeks.

This large project featured a warehouse of 5270m2 and a double storey office area with full height glazing.
