How did Alita Constructions come to be the builder of the South Coast Baptist College classroom addition?
Alita came to be the preferred builder, after the architect interviewed four different companies, and they were all invited to submit a tender and Alita came in with a very good price and had the best project management structure to fulfill the needs of the college.

After you have been through your building experience with Alita Constructions, what words best describe Alita Constructions and its culture?
I would definitely say: professional and friendly. They have a great culture of being helpful and kind, and always checking in with the client to make sure that we are satisfied.
Did Alita Constructions meet your expectations as a commercial builder? And if so, in what way?
Alita met our expectations in every aspect right from the very start, from the mobilisation process, to the beginning of the ground works, to finishing off. Any of the snag list that have happened, has all been done very professionally. Let’s just say that they have been willing to work with us, to fix the small issues that have come up on the way, and it has come a better project as a result.
How has working with Alita Constructions helped the South Coast Baptist College and how it operates?
Working with Alita has helped South Coast Baptist College in an enormous way. Firstly, the building was a working site, so we had a number of students/classes working on one half of the building, while Alita were constructing the other half of the building. And so, it needed to work in together with each other, to make sure that Alita could do their part, but the students and their learning were also not disrupted in any way. So, it was very, very good in that. So, when we had year twelve exams for example, Alita knew that they were coming up – the noise levels were reduced, and work around fitting in with that and also different parts of the project as well – whilst one part of the project was finished, we had to then move one class and one area to one room to another one, so then Alita would come in and finish. So, it was very much having to work together, to make sure the best outcome was achieved.
Did Alita Constructions have yours and the projects best interest at heart?
Yeah, absolutely! I think they have a heart for serving the community, and this is the way that they do serve the community – they have the best interest (not only of the college), but of the students as well, and the people who use these facilities. So, they wanted to ensure that they a great job that they can leave a legacy for.
Why would you recommend Alita Constructions to someone else?
I would definitely recommend Alita Constructions to another company / school, because they are very easy to deal with; very helpful, and they can assist in your design process along the way to make sure that the design and the functionality of the rooms and building are to a top level standard.
