We chose Alita Constructions one yes mainly for price but there were a few other important factors. The fact that they would be able to cooperate with the church and work together with us and see the same vision that we are sharing in building a church. The other one was also their previous experience. We heard good reports from other projects that they had built with and they gave us the confidence with building with them.
Working with the Customer?
Working with Alita Constructions, I was designated the Project Manager for our Church so I was the middle man between the church and the builder. So I was liaising on a daily basis with Alita Constructions and The Rocks Ministries. The great benefit of working with Alita was that I was always welcomed onsite and come at any time and come and go as I pleased, I was always informed of all decisions made major and minor and also if I had any input they were always welcoming and listening to it and visa versa and they gave advice that was outside of the plans and specifications some of which saved us money and time.

They definitely exceeded our expectations. I have built with a lot of builders before in the past not many in commercial but a lot of residential builders but Alita exceeded again in cooperating with us, always on time, built the project as planned and along the way offered advice to better save money and also better improvements for the future.
The Alita Approach?
Working with Alita was like a team, teamwork I would say they were always we were always working together achieving a common goal so the word team player comes to mind.
The Business Challenge?
Previously before this building was finished we were meeting in another church that we were hiring. Our previous building we had to sell up to obviously to fund this project and Alita built the building on time as planned and as per the schedule and specifications and they helped us move into a much better facility that suited our church requirements.
The Alita Difference?
Basically, they are very honest, ethical, they were very transparent in everything they wanted to do. They also were aware of the cost saving that we were under strict budget constraints and they worked very well with us and our volunteers so we can get the project finished on time and definitely within budget.
Understanding Requirements?
They definitely had a strong understanding of non for profit organisations and especially a church. They knew that we had time constraints, budget constraints we were very satisfied with how they were on the same page that we were on and shared the same vision in building a church and building a property that will be impressive to the general public also inspiring for future people to come in.
