Alita Constructions is excited to announce that we have been contracted for the construction of the Bus Depot at the new Perth Optus Stadium.
The construction is of the bus driver’s amenities building, including a crib room with kitchen facilities and an adjoining ablution block. This project is to be completed while the bus parking facility is in use and coordinated around stadium events.
Expected completion date is June 2018.

Rossiter Pavilion and Playing Field for the City of Armadale, is located in the Holland Park Private Estate in Piara Waters. The 38,000m2 site consists of a large pavilion and four changerooms and is fully landscaped. A BBQ and seating area together with a nature based playground and full size playing field is open and available to the local community.
This was an exciting opportunity for Alita to partner with the City of Armadale and provide the community with a facility for sporting clubs and community groups to gather.

With only 7 weeks to go until practical completion, the Piara Waters (South) Pavilion Project for City of Armadale is still on track with the landscaping, carpark, oval and final internal fit-offs all scheduled for completion in the coming weeks.

This morning a Pyrus Chanticleer tree was transplanted into the courtyard area at our Piara Waters (South) Pavilion Project for City of Armadale.
19/10/2017:
The Piara Waters (South) Pavilion Project for the City of Armadale has been progressing well. In the past few weeks the structural steel has been installed and the internal fitout has begun. The bricklayers are midway installing the 45 000 bricks required to form the internal walls. At the same time the roof plumbing contractors have started the guttering and roof sheeting and the service trades have begun installing pipework and cabling in the main pavilion. Mechanical services are due to start installing early next week with the external door and window frames are scheduled for early November. It is expected that the the main pavilion will be watertight within 4 weeks.

Watch as many truck loads of sand are brought in and spread for the carpark and building pad at the Piara Waters (South) Pavilion Project. All Civil, Electrical and Hydraulic undergrounds have now been installed. The slabs have since been poured and the concrete tilt panels are currently getting made on site.

The project has a short construction period of 14 weeks.

Alita Constructions has partnered with Peake Consultants and the City of Mandurah to design and construct the Peel Youth Medical Services Health Hub in Mandurah.
This building will allow for all of the services for young people located in Mandurah to be brought together in the new building to help tackle the increasing drugs, alcohol and mental health issues in the peel region.
The hub includes at least 60 consulting rooms, two training rooms and five waiting areas along with two reception areas.

The civil stormwater has been completed using Eco Aid storm tanks (pic below) to provide storage capacity and the hydraulic in-grounds and pre-lays are nearing completion.
Going forward; there will be bulk import of fill to bring the site up to design level and then the detailed excavation of the lift pit and footings will commence.
The project is being built on the town’s old tip which was closed in the early 60’s. The challenge for Alita has been ensuring the design accounts for any future potential movement. Alita have achieved this by providing alternative engineered solutions for the building’s substructure.
Alita Constructions has been awarded the construction of the Saint Peter’s Jacobite Church project located in Wattle Grove.
With a total floor area of 560m2, the project consists of a tilt panel construction with steel cladding to the roof, the detailed front facade is made up of specialist brickwork, rendered with corbel detailing and timber doors and window frames.

How impressive is the front facade on our St Peter’s Church project?

St Peter’s Church is nearing completion with the internal fit out of the building being well advanced. Alita have used Kooltherm K17 composite board as the product provides a quick and effective method to line the walls. The ceilings and bulkheads are complete and the painting of the walls has commenced. As a feature of the building, Alita engaged Cedar West to undertake the handcrafted cedar doors with a light oak stain to complement the church. The client is delighted with the end result.
Over the next few weeks Alita will complete the car park and the external paving. The church will be handed over to the client at the end of February.

The roof has been installed by Jabez Roofing at our Church project in Wattle Grove. The first fix mechanical, electrical and hydraulic will continue over the coming days as well as the completion of the front facade. How good does that front facade look?
15/09/2017 – The concrete tilt panels have been erected at our Church project in Wattle Grove. Structural steel installation is now underway and the roof cover will follow shortly after. We are looking forward to sharing photos of the curved windows and doors when they are installed!
Alita Constructions has recently signed the contract for the construction of a workshop development in Bassendean. The 1,200m2 project consists of an office, workshop space and a mezzanine floor. Work will begin this month with the completion date expected in December 2017.
